Problem with Ron Paul.. or problem with America?

with 2 comments

For those of you who are following the 2008 presidential race, you should have at least heard some hype around the name “Ron Paul”. It seems you really can’t go anywhere on the internet without some person fanatically speaking about this guy. The truth is, he is really worth all the chatter surrounding his name.

But there is a problem, one which beseeches most average americans. Ron Paul represents an idea that requires an understanding of the past 200 years history of this great nation. When you hear someone say they want to get rid of the IRS, the Federal Dept of Education, etc. it is very easy to just write them off as a loony. The thing is, when you understand how and why this country was created, you will start seeing the slow degradation of yet another great nation. And when you compare what is happening economically for example against previous great nations that have risen to power and then collapsed (like Rome), you start to realize that this country is following the pattern of economic collapse to the T. Unfortunately, most American people do not want to educate themselves to that level of understanding. So when they reject the teachings of our founding fathers, they lose sight and fall into the political trap that exists today. Ron Paul wants to change all of that, he wants to overhaul the government and bring us back to our roots of freedom. Most Americans think they are “free”, when in reality we are one of the most oppressed nations out there. The main stream media has the ability to plant in our brains that we are essentially “free” by repeatedly bashing it into our skulls with skewed news. People will soak up whatever CNN and FOX tell them, and believe whatever side of the story they are telling. There is no “investigative journalism” anymore, it is all a mascaraed.

  1. I completely agree with you, great post. With Ron Paul, corporations would be able to have anything they want. No regulations.

    Nice blog also..
I started mine about the same time as you.

  2. Thanks.

You do realize corporations are government created entities, correct?
